Fulgencio is based in Madrid (Spain) and has over 25 years of experience advising on indirect taxation (especially Value Added Tax and other consumption and transactional taxes) in both domestic and international contexts.

Prior to establishing Tax in Context | Advis, he developed his professional career in an international law firm and in several Big Four firms in Spain, where he was a partner and director in the indirect tax practice.

He holds a degree in Law and an LL.M. in Taxation, and has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 2004.

He regularly advises on the design and implementation of structures for the commercialization of goods and services with optimization of indirect taxes in supply chains, on the minimization of the indirect tax burden in entities with VAT recovery restrictions, and in those where indirect taxes have an impact on business margins.

He also provides advice and planning in the context of business reorganizations, real estate transactions and urban planning operations, public procurement processes, and audits and tax litigation proceedings before the tax authorities and the courts of justice.

He has also collaborated with sector organizations and professional associations, acting as an external advisor on indirect taxation.

He is a regular lecturer at seminars and courses on indirect taxation, and an adjunct professor in postgraduate tax courses at different universities.
